Relax at Beach
Nothing says a Sunshine Coast holiday quite like a day at the beach. With Elouera Tower located directly opposite beautiful Maroochydore Beach, you can stroll across to the sand and make the most of a warm spring day.
Take a swim, enjoy a walk along the shoreline or simply settle in with a good book and listen to the waves. Just remember to swim between the flags.
Taste the Sunshine Coast with a Spring Picnic
Spring is the perfect time to pack a picnic and enjoy some of the Sunshine Coast’s incredible local produce. Fill your basket with fresh local produce, artisan treats and your favourite picnic essentials, then find a spot at the beach, in a park or in the hinterland to enjoy your spread. Visit Australia Zoo
A visit to Australia Zoo is a great addition to a Sunshine Coast holiday, and spring is a lovely time to explore the park.

See the Gardens in bloom at Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens
Get back to nature with a visit to the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden at Tanawha. Covering 82 hectares, the gardens are home to a mix of natural forest, native gardens, walking trails, open lawns and art installations.
Spring is a lovely time to explore the gardens on foot, pack a picnic or simply enjoy some time surrounded by nature. Entry is free, and there are several walking tracks to discover.
Watch the Whales
Spring is one of the last opportunities of the year to see humpback whales as they continue their migration along the Sunshine Coast. Whales can often be spotted into late October or November, and if you’re lucky, you may even see one from the shoreline.

Attend a Spring Event
